redskins vs. packers = bush vs. kerry
October 31, 2004, 10:45 am

As the eyes of a weary nation look to Tuesday for its winner in the Presidential Election, those in the know will have to look no further than a Sunday obligation: NFL FOOTBALL. Behold, the Washington Post:

"First, watch the Redskins today. Ever since 1936, the year before the team moved to Washington, the last home game before the election has predicted the winner. If the Redskins win, so does the incumbent party in the White House; if not, not. This rule has held good for 17 straight elections. If you needed an extra reason to watch the team take on the Green Bay Packers this afternoon, you now have one."

While I'll be watching my beloved Ravens probably get the ever-loving snot beat out of them by McNabb and the Eagles, I will definitely flip-flop to keeping tabs on this one!

Happy Halloween, you hell-bound Pagans!
