i'm thankful for you, too

The Thankful List, 2005:

I, Jessica Lynn Biensoul, am a woman who needs to be grateful and thankful for numerous things, including but not exclusively as follows:

1. The ridiculous Big Fat Greek Loving Family I have. Yes, we may infiltrate Karaoke sessions and laugh through most of our songs, but how damn adorable are WE? Seriously!

2. Thumper, for he manages to make me feel beautiful and then somehow make farting funny again, as if I were in 3rd grade, and he's awfully snuggly and warm.

3. I have a job that most days I love, and even if I'm a tad overwhelmed from time to time (ahem, always), I know most people hate to work, and that will never be the case for me again (I hope).

4. The B.A. Okay, so a bunch of my Theatre Geeks? Totally formed the Biensoul Army a la Dumbledore's Army in _Harry Potter_. You are allowed to be crazy jealous that you don't have one.

5. I have a cute face. Really.

6. The hilarious online community and the requisite Squee that goes along with being a part of said community.

7. Scrapbooking; damn, that's smooth. I've been satisfying my SERIOUS Scrapbooking Jones the past few days by doing Thanksgiving pages, ready for pictures.

8. Did I mention my great relationship with the future in-laws? Awesome.

9. Friendships, here and there, and everywhere.

10. New beginnings, pregnancies, weddings, and being happy for people who aren't me.

Happy Thanksgiving, 2005. I'm off to create the bracket for the 2nd Annual Biensoul Turkey Table Tennis Tournament...it should be a SHOWDOWN this year!
